CHS to build new fertilizer hub in Hallock, Minnesota March 1, 2024 By investing in the crop nutrients supply chain, CHS helps its producer-owners have the fertilizer they need when they need it. To deliver a best-in-class customer experience focused on solutions that serve farmers, CHS is building a 25,000-ton fertilizer hub in Hallock, Minnesota. This fertilizer hub increases storage in the area by 20,000 tons, helping to provide crop nutrients to our customers when they need it where they need it. The new plant is expected to open in spring 2025 and will be located on the same land as the CHS canola plant. “CHS is dedicated to investing in the cooperative supply chain on behalf of our farmer-owners,” says Rick Dusek, executive vice president of ag retail, distribution and transportation. “This new facility will help our producers grow their business by increasing the speed and space of our assets while efficiently connecting them to the global crop nutrients supply chain.”
